Copeland's semi-hermetic screw compressors are designed for use in airconditioning and refrigeration applications. They can operate at high, medium and low temperatures with HFC and HCFC refrigerants including R407C, R22, R134a, R404A and 8507. All compressors are equipped with two-steps of capacity control and start unloading, and are fitted with numerous standard features including electronic motor protection with reverse-rotation and discharge temperature protection. Numerous optional accessories are also available.

The Copeland Screw programme consists of 21 models, divided into three product ranges: SCH, SHM and SHL. The SCH Compact Screw series has an integrated oil separator and is approved for use with R407C, R22 and R134a.
The SHM series is approved for use with R404A, 8507, R407C, R22 and R134a, while the SHL series can operate with R404A, 8507 and R22.

SCH Series: 5 sizes, cooling capacities from 129 to 229 kW
SHM Series: 8 sizes, cooling capacities from 45 to 146 kW
SHL Series: 8 sizes, cooling capacities from 20 to 68 kW

The SCH Compact Screw models are designed for packaged air-conditioning applications with evaporation temperatures ranging from +12.5 to -15°C.
The SHM models are designed for medium temperature refrigeration applications with evaporation temperatures ranging from +12.5 to -20°C.
The SHL models are intended for low temperature refrigeration applications with evaporation temperatures ranging from -10 to -50°C.
